Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is seeking a skilled plumber to join a responsive repairs team across North Yorkshire for a respected housing association.

You will attend urgent and routine plumbing issues in tenanted properties, delivering high-quality repairs while maintaining safe, habitable homes and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing.
• Proven experience in responsive repairs, ideally within social housing.
• Full UK driving licence (van and fuel card provided) • Basic DBS check required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive plumbing repairs in domestic properties.
• Fix leaking taps, toilets, and pipework.
• Unblock drains and waste systems.
• Repair or replace radiators, sinks, baths and showers; diagnose water pressure issues.
• Ensure work is completed on the first visit where possible.
• Maintain records of work completed and materials used.
• Liaise with tenants professionally.
• Work with other trades as needed and adhere to safety regulations.

This role involves attending to urgent and routine plumbing issues in tenanted properties, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

You'll be representing a respected housing association, delivering excellent customer service and maintaining safe, habitable homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive plumbing repairs in domestic properties, including: Fixing leaking taps, toilets, and pipework Unblocking drains and waste systems
• Repairing or replacing radiators and heating components Installing or replacing sinks, baths, and showers, diagnosing and resolving water pressure issues
• Ensure all work is completed on the first visit where possible
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
• Liaise with tenants in a professional and respectful manner
• Work collaboratively with other trades as needed (e.g., joinery, tiling)
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements
