Job summary

Coyle Personnel is seeking a Maintenance Plumber based in Stone, Kent to join a team delivering Hard Services Facilities Maintenance within an NHS Estate environment. The role focuses on planned and reactive plumbing work in plant rooms, wards and communal areas.

You will carry out repairs on TMVs, showers, toilets and sinks, handle unblocks, leaks, legionella checks, and support sub-contractors with paperwork.

Qualifications

• Plumbing qualifications are required.
• Experience in hospital environment beneficial but not essential.
• DBS Standard check required.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plumbing within wards and accommodation blocks.
• Unblock toilets, repair leaks, legionella checks and water temperature checks; support sub contractors with paperwork.
• Carry out planned maintenance tasks as instructed by management and support team.
• Experience of maintenance A/C units beneficial but not essential.
• Respond to emergency maintenance tasks as instructed by management and support teams.
• Complete paperwork and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Plumber based in Stone, Kent

This is an excellent opportunity to b\ecome an integral part of a team committed to delivering Hard Services Facilities Maintenance within an NHS Estate environment.

The Maintenance Plumber, will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work within plant rooms, wards and communal areas. This role requires a positive person, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain plumbing, pipe work, including TMV's, showers, toilets and sinks within the wards and within accommodation blocks.
• This can also include, unblocking toilets, repairing leaks, plant room walk arounds, legionella checks, water temperature checks, fire suppression checks and supporting sub contractors ensuring all paperwork is completed
• Carrying out planned maintenance tasks as instructed by the management and support team
• Experience of maintenance A/C units, including drip trays, belts and motors beneficial, but not essential
• Responding to emergency maintenance tasks as instructed by the management and support teams
• Completing paperwork
• Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Good all round building maintenance experience beneficial
• Excellent understanding of a variety of plumbing tasks
• An understanding of HTM procedures beneficial.
• Plumbing qualified
• Previous experience within a hospital environment beneficial but not essential, good understanding of planned and reactive building maintenance within commercial setting would suffice
• DBS Standard check required

This role is working a minimum 37.5 hours per week with room for plenty of overtime and additional training (AP status in water, confined spaces, etc)
