Moxie People are seeking a Multi-Skilled Operative to join their Responsive Repairs team in Wokingham. Your day-to-day will combine carpentry and plumbing to deliver high-quality repairs in occupied social housing, ensuring safe and comfortable homes for residents.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Carpentry (or Plumbing)
• Experience in responsive repairs or social housing
• Strong multi-trade capabilities and problem solving
• Full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Carry out general carpentry repairs in occupied homes (doors, frames, locks, kitchens)
• Carry out plumbing repairs (leaks, taps, sanitaryware)
• Patch plastering and minor decorating
• Wall and floor tiling repairs
• Diagnose faults and perform first-time fixes where possible
• Deliver excellent customer service while working in residents' homes
• Maintain high health and safety standards

The Role

No two days are the same.

You'll be delivering responsive repairs across occupied social housing properties, providing a professional and high-quality service to residents.

Typical work will include:

• General carpentry repairs including doors, frames, locks, kitchens and fencing
• Plumbing repairs such as leaking taps, pipework, toilet and sanitaryware repairs
• Patch plastering and making good
• Wall and floor tiling repairs
• Minor decorating and finishing works
• Diagnosing faults and completing first-time fixes wherever possible
• Delivering excellent customer service while working in residents' homes
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety

What You'll Need

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Carpentry, Plumbing
• Experience within responsive repairs, social housing, property maintenance or domestic repairs
• Strong multi-trade skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• A customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence
