Job summary

Amey Group Services LTD is hiring a permanent Plumber for HMP Brinsford. The role involves routine and non-routine maintenance, mains water supply repairs, fault finding and risk assessment to support a safe, clean and efficient prison estate.

Working hours are 39 per week, 07:45–16:45 Monday to Thursday and 07:45–15:45 Friday, with a 1-in-4 weekend rota and an on-call cycle of 1-in-12 weeks. Salary ranges from £30,866 to £36,135 depending on experience.

Job description

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMPYOI Brinsford.

The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, working between 07.45 till 16.45 Mon - Thurs and 07.45 until 15.45 Fri. There will be a need to work 1 in 4 weekends, but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary). On call will be 1 in 12 weeks.

The base salary is between £30,866 - £36,135 dependant on experience.
