Job summary

Sureserve is seeking an experienced plumber for maintenance and repairs of heating and hot water systems across client properties in the UK. You will perform a range of plumbing tasks, diagnose issues, and ensure systems function safely and efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanour with clients and tenants.

The role involves 5 days per week, 8am to 5pm with some call-out evenings and weekends. A plumbing certification and strong H&S knowledge are essential; on-call rota applies.

• Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and our team.

We are seeking an experienced plumber to perform maintenance and repairs to our clients heating and hot water systems, completing all work in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction

Overview of Role

The Plumber will visit client properties to perform a range of plumbing maintenance and repair tasks. They will ensure that all plumbing systems function efficiently and safely, completing all repairs in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all necessary plumbing repairs and maintenance work.

• Installing and repairing plumbing fixtures.

• Diagnose and assess plumbing issues.

• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.

• Maintain a professional demeanour while interacting with clients and tenants.

Key Attributes & Requirements

• Qualified and experienced in plumbing with relevant certification.

• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work in a team environment.

• Ability to diagnose problems and propose cost-effective solutions.

• Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and our team.

• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Adhere to the Out of Hours,weekends and evenings on callrota

• It is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us.

Working hours are:

• 5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm - 40 hrs

1 hour for lunch daily, call out rota to go on doing evenings & weekend work.
