Plumber

Location: West London

Rate: £13.77 - £15.59 Per hour + enhanced rate for Weekends and Bank holidays

Contract: Temporary

Work Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:30, and Friday 08:00–16:00. Flexibility may be required for tasks at other London sites.

Meridian Business Support is currently seeking skilled and versatile Multi-Skilled Plumbers to join our client in West London. This role is based within a hospital environment and offers a hands-on opportunity where you will:

1. Perform both routine and non-routine work activities.
2. Undertake new works, repairs, and routine planned maintenance on mechanical and heating systems, as well as hot and cold water plant equipment and services.
3. Efficiently manage reactive work requests, minor new installations, and weekly planned preventative maintenance tasks.
4. Escort contractors carrying out inspections and installations.
5. Adhere strictly to relevant policies and procedures while maintaining tool lists and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and Security regulations.

Key Requirements:

1. Essential tools and PPE: Must provide your own.
2. Plumbing qualification: NVQ level 2 or above or equivalent.
3. Communication: Ability to interact effectively at all levels.
4. Flexibility: Open to adapting to varied tasks and schedules.
5. IT Skills: Basic computer literacy is essential.
6. Driving License: A valid manual driving license is required.
7. Deadline-Oriented: Ability to manage tasks efficiently within set deadlines.
