Job description

Morgan Hunt currently requires an Assistant Plumber for NHS based in Middlesex.

Pay Rate: £16ph to £17ph Ltd

Hours: 37.5 hrs, 8am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs and 8am to 4:00pm Fri

Location: Middlesex

Duration: 12 months ongoing contract

Suitable candidates must have a full clean driving license; vehicle will be provided.

Job Description Requirements

1. Carry out routine and non-routine work activities.
2. Perform new works, repairs, and routine planned maintenance on mechanical and heating, hot and cold water plant, equipment, and services.
3. Handle reactive work requests, minor new installations, and weekly planned preventative maintenance efficiently.
4. Escort contractors during inspections and installations.
5. Strictly adhere to relevant policies and procedures, maintain tool lists, and comply with Health and Safety and Security Regulations.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Part II or minimum NVQ Level 2 in plumbing, refrigeration, or mechanical services.
• Water safety training.

Experience

• Experience in plumbing/ventilation trades or keen to learn as a newly qualified plumber.

Other Requirements

• Own tools and PPE.
• Ability to interact at all levels.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Computer literate.
• Willingness to work to deadlines and at various London sites.
