Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Newcastle is seeking a Mechanical Plumber to join our on-site team. The role involves routine maintenance of heating and air-conditioning plant, evaporation cooling systems and domestic water networks, with a focus on reliability, safety and compliance with L8 standards.

You will inspect, diagnose and repair equipment, carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works, and contribute to a professional image by delivering excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Experience of maintaining Pumps, Motors and Valves.
• Experience of operating Cooling Towers.
• Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance on Heating & Air-conditioning plant.
• Maintain Evaporation Cooling Systems and Domestic water systems to L8 standards.
• Rectify plant faults quickly to keep systems in service.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive works on site equipment.
• Present a professional image and deliver excellent customer service to clients.

We are recruiting a Plumber to join our team in Newcastle!

Role Summary

• Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all Heating & Air-conditioning plant
• Ensure that Evaporation Cooling Systems and Domestic water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard.
• Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
• To carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to other site plant as required.
• Ensure a professional image of CBRE Managed Services is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.

The successful candidate will be a Mechanical Plumber who is proficient in various disciplines, capable of handling a range of maintenance and repairs on-site. Their responsibilities include performing inspections, diagnosing and fixing equipment issues, conducting repairs across different systems, and ensuring smooth operations on site.

Hours

3 weeks 7.30am - 3.30pm & 1 week 9am-6pm Monday to Friday

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of maintaining Pumps, Motors and Valves.
• Experience of operating Cooling Towers.
• Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities.
• Time served plumber to NVQ Level 2/3
