Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is recruiting a Mechanical Plumber to join our team in Capenhurst, Chester. The role involves inspecting and maintaining heating and air-conditioning plant, and ensuring compliance with L8 standards.

The successful candidate will be time-served with NVQ Level 2/3, experienced with pumps, motors, valves and cooling towers, and committed to safety and high-quality service on site.

Qualifications

• Experience of operating Cooling Towers.
• Sound understanding of health & safety obligations in maintenance.
• Time served plumber to NVQ Level 2/3

Responsibilities

We are recruiting a Plumber to join our team in Capenhurst, Chester!

Role Summary

• Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all Heating & Air-conditioning plant
• Ensure that Evaporation Cooling Systems and Domestic water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard.
• Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
• To carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to other site plant as required.
• Ensure a professional image of CBRE Managed Services is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.

The successful candidate will be a Mechanical Plumber who is proficient in various disciplines, capable of handling a range of maintenance and repairs on-site. Their responsibilities include performing inspections, diagnosing and fixing equipment issues, conducting repairs across different systems, and ensuring smooth operations on site.

Hours

• 7.30am - 4.30pm
• Monday to Thursday
• 1.30pm Finish on Fridays

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of maintaining Pumps, Motors and Valves.
• Experience of operating Cooling Towers.
• Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities.
• Time served plumber to NVQ Level 2/3
