Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Newcastle is seeking a Mechanical Plumber to join our on-site team. You will carry out routine maintenance on Heating & Air-conditioning plant, ensure evaporation cooling and domestic water systems meet L8 requirements, and remedy faults promptly to keep equipment in service.

The role involves planned preventative maintenance and reactive work across site plant, inspections, diagnosing issues, and maintaining a professional image with clients.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 time-served plumber.
• Experience maintaining pumps, motors and valves.
• Experience operating cooling towers.
• Solid understanding of health and safety obligations in maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance on Heating & Air-conditioning plant.

We are recruiting a Plumber to join our team in Newcastle!

Role Summary

• Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all Heating & Air-conditioning plant
• Ensure that Evaporation Cooling Systems and Domestic water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard.
• Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
• To carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to other site plant as required.
• Ensure a professional image of CBRE Managed Services is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.

The successful candidate will be a Mechanical Plumber who is proficient in various disciplines, capable of handling a range of maintenance and repairs on-site. Their responsibilities include performing inspections, diagnosing and fixing equipment issues, conducting repairs across different systems, and ensuring smooth operations on site.

Hours

• 3 weeks 7.30am - 3.30pm & 1 week 9am-6pm
• Monday to Friday

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of maintaining Pumps, Motors and Valves.
• Experience of operating Cooling Towers.
• Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities.
• Time served plumber to NVQ Level 2/3
