Job Specification – Reactive Plumber (Mobile Role within M25)

Position: Reactive Plumber

Location: Mobile – All Sites Within M25

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Reactive Plumber to join our mobile maintenance team operating within the M25. This role is ideal for a motivated and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

As a mobile engineer, you will be responsible for attending a variety of commercial and critical sites, providing both reactive and planned plumbing services. You’ll work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team to ensure minimal disruption to operations and client satisfaction at every site visited.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency plumbing call-outs across multiple client sites
• Carry out fault diagnosis and repair of hot and cold-water systems, pipework, drainage, and sanitary ware
• Complete small installation and remedial works as required
• Maintain accurate job records and ensure completion of all work to high safety and quality standards
• Liaise professionally with site personnel, facilities staff, and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with site-specific health and safety policies, risk assessments, and method statements
• Manage van stock and ensure vehicle and tools are kept in good condition
• Participate in the on-call rota (details to be confirmed)

Requirements

• Proven experience as a plumber within commercial or FM environments
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and compliance standards
