We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Plumber in HMP Hull, Hedon Road, Hull HU9 5LS.

The standard hours of work are 16 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between 08:00 - 17:00 Monday and Tuesday and will also involve working 1 in 6 weekends but this would be on a rota basis.

At Amey, we're supporting our justice client, His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons. By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.

What you will do:

  • Routine and non-routine maintenance.
  • Mains water supply repairs.
  • Fault finding Identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
  • Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
What you will bring:
  • Full driving licence
  • Experience in a commercial environment
  • Experience in operating light plant
  • NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating is preferred (we will consider NVQ level 2)
  • Legionella Control (L8) is desirable
