Job summary

United Living Group is seeking experienced plumbers to join our team on kitchen and bathroom renewal projects in social housing across South-West and West London. This self-employed role offers consistent, long-term work with strong earning potential, in a structured programme with site team support.

You will perform all plumbing work, install radiators and taps, test installations, and ensure quality while working in occupied homes. Strong reliability, tools, and a valid CSCS card are essential.

Qualifications

  • CSCS card
  • Experience in domestic/social housing
  • NVQ Level 2 (preferred)
  • Basic H&S certifications (asbestos awareness)

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all plumbing works as part of kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
  • Install garden taps and radiators; reallocate existing radiators
  • Change stopcocks; first and second fix plumbing for showers
  • Replace bathtubs, WCs and sinks; install shower trays and waste pumps
  • Make good and test installations to ensure compliance and quality
  • Work in occupied social housing properties, maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment
  • Manage daily workloads to meet programme deadlines
  • Communicate clearly with site teams, supervisors, and tenants
  • Identify and report defects or additional works required
  • Collaborate with other trades for smooth project delivery

About the Role

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Carrying out all plumbing works as part of kitchen and bathroom refurbishments
  • Installing garden taps
  • Installing new radiators and reallocating existing radiators where required
  • Changing stopcocks
  • First and second fix plumbing for showers
  • Replacing bathtubs, WCs, and sinks
  • Installing shower trays
  • Installing waste pumps
  • Making good and testing all installations to ensure compliance and quality
  • Working in occupied social housing properties, maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful working environment
  • Managing daily workloads to meet programme deadlines
  • Communicating clearly with site teams, supervisors, and tenants
  • Identifying and reporting any defects, issues, or additional works required
  • Working collaboratively with other trades to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery
