Job summary

Global Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Plumber / Heating Engineer for the Greater Glasgow Area. This full-time role is temporary to permanent, with a salary review after 13 weeks and pay at £24 per hour plus overtime at £30 per hour.

You will be part of a maintenance team covering reactive plumbing and heating across domestic and light commercial properties, with additional planned maintenance, servicing and installations across multiple sites. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing and heating maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and repair skills.
• Experience with heating system servicing, planned maintenance and installations.
• Relevant plumbing and heating qualifications.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload across multiple sites.
• Flexibility to travel throughout Greater Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Attend reactive plumbing and heating maintenance call-outs across Greater Glasgow and surrounding areas.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Service and maintain heating systems.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Carry out installation and remedial works as required.
• Travel between sites as required, managing workload and appointments efficiently.
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and health and safety.
• Provide excellent customer service when dealing with clients and property occupiers.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber / Heating Engineer to join a well-established maintenance team, supporting sites across Greater Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

This is a full-time position focused on reactive plumbing and heating maintenance across domestic and light commercial properties, alongside planned maintenance, servicing, installations and remedial works.

The successful candidate will be responsible for attending sites across the Greater Glasgow area, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and maintenance to a high standard. The role would suit a reliable, self-motivated engineer who can work independently, manage their workload effectively and deliver excellent customer service.
