Job summary

Clearfield Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Gas Safe Plumber to join a professional property maintenance team supporting a prestigious residential portfolio. You will install, maintain and repair water, drainage and central heating systems while diagnosing faults and ensuring minimal client disruption.

You will test and commission heating circuits, perform planned maintenance, keep detailed records and manage parts inventories.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Plumbing.
• Gas Safe Registered with current certification.
• Unvented Hot Water Certification.
• Strong understanding of plumbing and heating systems.
• Knowledge of current Building Regulations.
• Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH requirements.
• Experience in installation, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Ability to work independently within a maintenance team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Own hand tools and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair hot and cold water systems, drainage networks, sanitary ware and central heating systems.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults efficiently with minimal disruption to clients.
• Test, commission and maintain closed-loop heating circuits and associated plant.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair works.
• Maintain accurate records of completed works, materials used and remedial actions.
• Manage and maintain an inventory of plumbing materials and consumables.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other trades to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Adhere to Health & Safety legislation, risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH requirements.
• Participate in an on-call and seasonal rota as required.
• Undertake additional duties reasonably requested by management within the scope of the role.
