Job summary

PLM in Worcester is seeking a Consultant to translate client requirements into PLM solutions across engineering and manufacturing environments. You will gather requirements, design PLM configurations and lead implementation initiatives end-to-end.

You’ll deliver training, support data migration and integration with ERP/CAD/IoT platforms, while building trusted client relationships and staying current on PLM trends.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ consultancy or client-facing experience.
• Understanding of PLM, digital transformation or engineering software environments.
• Experience with PTC Windchill, Creo or ThingWorx.
• Background in IT, industrial design, mechanical engineering, manufacturing or related field.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Basic project management experience and stakeholder communication.
• Confident running workshops and client conversations.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements across product development, manufacturing and lifecycle management.
• Translate business needs into PLM recommendations and solution designs.
• Configure PLM systems to match client workflows and rules.
• Support installation, configuration, customization and data migration.
• Integrate PLM with ERP, CAD, CRM and IoT platforms.
• Lead implementation activities and manage timelines/budgets.
• Deliver training and workshops for client teams.
• Provide technical support and act as escalation point for PLM issues.
• Build strong client relationships and stay current on PLM trends.
