Job summary

Oho Group in Cambridge is seeking a PLM Administrator / Change Controller to support engineering and product data management activities. You will maintain product information, manage Bills of Materials (BoMs), control engineering changes and help develop internal systems and processes.

The role involves working with a range of stakeholders to ensure accurate data, documented changes and timely access to information across projects. A background in PLM/PDM and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the company's product data management systems. Investigate system issues and support the implementation of improvements. Maintain and improve workflows, processes and procedures. Support ongoing system development and enhancements.
• Create, validate and manage product data (BoMs, variants) to ensure data quality and traceability. Maintain product structures and ensure information is accurately recorded. Ensure data is available in line with project requirements.
• Coordinate and manage engineering change requests, track revisions and communicate changes. Maintain part numbers and associated documentation. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes.

PLM Administrator / Change Controller (Immediate or 1 month notice only) Location: Cambridge

The Opportunity An established business is looking for a PLM Administrator / Change Controller to support its engineering and product data management activities. This role will focus on maintaining accurate product information, managing Bills of Materials (BoMs), controlling engineering changes and supporting the ongoing development of internal systems and processes. Working with a variety of stakeholders, you will help ensure product information is accurately maintained, changes are properly documented and data is available when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Systems Administration Administer and maintain the company's product data management systems. Investigate system issues and support the implementation of improvements. Maintain and improve workflows, processes and procedures. Support ongoing system development and enhancements.
• Product Data & Configuration Create, maintain and validate product documentation and data records. Manage Bills of Materials and associated product structures. Maintain product variants and ensure information is accurately recorded. Ensure data is available in line with project requirements. Work with internal teams to maintain data quality and consistency.
• Engineering Change Control Coordinate and administer engineering change requests and orders. Maintain part numbers, revisions and associated documentation. Ensure changes are recorded, tracked and communicated effectively. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes.

About You

• Experience working with an engineering PLM or PDM system.
