Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (PLC Training) in Holywell. The role offers a salary of £42,000–£45,000 with overtime and potential OTE around £60,000, plus funded training on electrical systems and PLCs.

You will perform both mechanical and electrical maintenance on automation, motors, gearboxes, sensors and control panels across a 3-shift rotation. The company operates in aerospace, automotive and chemical sectors and provides full internal training.

Qualifications

• Maintenance engineering role in manufacturing with training on PLCs.
• Experience in mechanical and some electrical maintenance.
• Willingness to work 3-shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of automation and manufacturing machinery.
• Fault finding and maintaining gearboxes, motors, sensors, panels and PLCs.
• 3 shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am, rotating weekly.
