Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Industrial) in Chester. You will fault-find, diagnose and repair industrial machinery and operate PLC-controlled systems in a factory setting.

You'll work on furnaces, conveyors and mixers, with rotating shifts and a shift allowance. This role offers training, progression opportunities and healthcare, with a long-established industrial employer.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs in an industrial setting.
• Industrial electrical maintenance background.
• Willingness to commute to Chester.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery.
• Work on furnaces, conveyors, casting machines, extraction systems, crushers and mixers.
• Perform preventative maintenance (PPM) and service PLC-controlled systems.
• Carry out mechanical repairs including pumps, gears, hydraulics.
