We’re not just talking about making a difference, we’re making it happen. We generate dispatchable, renewable power and create stable energy in an uncertain world. Building on our proud heritage, we have the ambition to become the global leader in sustainable biomass and carbon removals.
You’ll be joining our teams of practical doers, future thinkers, and business champions. We’re enabling a zero-carbon, lower-cost energy future for all, and working hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come.
You’ll be working in the Control & Instrumentation engineering team to safely deliver control system and PLC modifications and upgrades. This will include taking responsibility for plant improvement projects, delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
You’ll also be expected to maintain and improve the existing control systems and PLCs by implementing the latest security measures against cyber-attacks. The role will challenge your technical ability, problem-solving, and communication skills, contributing to the delivery of flexible, renewable energy at Drax Power Station.
This role provides an opportunity to develop into a subject matter expert for the implementation of cybersecurity improvements in line with the latest NIS regulation and IEC62443 recommendations.
