You’ll work in the Control & Instrumentation engineering team to safely deliver control system and PLC modifications and upgrades. Responsibilities include plant improvement projects, maintaining and enhancing existing control systems and PLCs, and implementing the latest security measures against cyber-attacks. This role will challenge your technical, problem-solving, and communication skills, contributing to the delivery of renewable energy at Drax Power Station.
This position offers the opportunity to develop into a subject matter expert in cyber-security improvements aligned with the latest NIS regulation and IEC62443 standards.
You should have at least an HND in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Software Engineering, coupled with PLC programming experience. Experience with Schneider PLCs and knowledge of NIS regulation and IEC62443 is desirable. You must be capable of managing critical projects and handling a dynamic workload, with a strong willingness to learn.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. A commitment to safety and high standards in environmental and housekeeping duties is required.
