Job summary

Chandag Primary School in Keynsham is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Playworker to join our wraparound care team. The role offers 6 hours per week, term-time, with flexible sessions from 7:30am-9:00am and/or 3:00pm-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

We value a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive and feel valued. Applicants should have experience with early years and GCSE English/Maths, plus excellent communication with children, parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience with early years and suitability to work with children and young people.
• GCSE/O level English and Maths required.
• Excellent communication and interaction skills with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support wraparound care provision and create a safe, inclusive environment.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children attending the wraparound service.
• Collaborate with the team to encourage children to flourish and participate in activities.
