Job summary

Davyhulme Primary School in Manchester is inviting applications for a Playworker for Owls’ Nest wraparound care. Start as soon as possible, 18 hours per week over 39 weeks. Salary is pro rata and based on a Band 2, point 5.

You will support breakfast and after-school club, provide safe, high-quality playcare to children, and follow school policies while working with a supportive team. DBS checks apply.

PLAYWORKER OWLS’ NEST - SCHOOL WRAPAROUND CARE - Start: As soon as possible

Band 2 point 5, £26,427 (annual pro rata salary, based on 18 hours - £11,287
Term time only plus inset days (39 weeks)
Hours: 3 18 hours per week dependant on experience
Scope to work additional hours during holiday club
Temporary contract with scope to increase contractual hours.

The Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Playworker within the school’s wraparound care facility, Owls’ Nest, including breakfast and after school club.

The playworker will assist with the day to day activities within breakfast and after school club, providing quality playcare within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures.
