Job summary

Whitegrove Primary School is seeking motivated, reliable playworkers for our busy After School Club in Bracknell. You will engage, supervise and support children, helping with the daily running of the club and ensuring their wellbeing.

This part-time, term-time role is 16.15 hours per week with a permanent contract. We value energetic team players who can contribute positively to a busy, friendly environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in school or club settings.
  • Ability to engage, supervise and support children in activities.
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and a team player.

  • Salary: BFC K3 £12.85 plus £0.37 LW (£13.22 per hour) pending NCJ pay increase

Role overview

We wish to appoint motivated, enthusiastic and reliable playworkers for our very busy After School Club. Candidates will be passionate about play and understand the essential role it has in children's wellbeing and lives. We are looking for hard-working team players who engage, supervise and support the children and will get involved in the daily running of the club.

About the school

Whitegrove Primary School is a large, over-subscribed school in north east Bracknell, where excellence and enjoyment are at the heart of the school’s ethos. We have strong links with the local community and have excellent support from our parents. Our children are well-behaved and eager to learn. We were rated as a ‘good’ school in our most recent Ofsted (March 2022).
