Coram’s Fields Play Service in London is seeking a Play Worker to join our OSC and Holiday Schemes, delivering high-quality childcare for ages 4–12. The role is part-time 20 hours per week during term time, expanding to 35 hours per week in school holidays. A minimum of one year’s experience with young people is essential.
An NVQ level 2/3 or above in childcare/play work and relevant safeguarding training are desirable. Salary is £27,821 per annum pro‑rata, closing date 25 September 2026.

The Play Worker role is an integral part of Coram’s Fields Play Service team, providing high quality childcare within our established weekly Out of School Club (OSC) provision and Holiday Schemes.
Responsibilities include contributing to the effective running of Coram’s Fields OSC and Holiday schemes by providing high quality, needs led support to young people aged 4-12 years and to plan, develop and deliver activities that are fully inclusive for the after school and holiday programmes for this age group.
A minimum of one year’s experience of working with young people, preferably in a play context, is essential. An appropriate childcare, education or play work qualification at NVQ level 2, 3 or above and relevant safeguarding training would also be desirable.
