Caldmore Academy in Barnsley is seeking a flexible lunchtime playworker to supervise pupils during lunch, support their play and ensure a safe, inclusive environment.

You will promote positive behaviour, help with basic first aid, and work alongside staff to meet the needs of all learners while keeping calm under pressure.

Are you looking for a fantastic new opportunity? Caldmore Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible lunchtime playworker.

The successful candidate will supervise, support and engage pupils during lunchtime by providing a safe, inclusive and stimulating play environment. The role involves organising and facilitating play activities, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children., Our mission is to provide the very best education for all pupils and the highest level of support for our staff to ensure every pupil leaves our academies with everything they need to reach their full potential.

We are looking for a positive and committed individual who can communicate effectively with both students and staff and is keen to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a behaviour of groups of children, deal with any basic 1^st aid incidents and keep calm under pressure.

It is essential that the successful candidate have knowledge of kitchen health and safety and is sensitive and understanding of the students' needs.
