Job summary

Caldmore Primary Academy, part of the Academy Transformation Trust, is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in Early Years. The role focuses on promoting independence, self-esteem and inclusion, supporting pupils individually or in small groups so they can access the curriculum and achieve.

Requirements include GCSE English and Maths at C/4 or above and an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, with first aid training or willingness to undertake it.

• NJC Point 12-17
• £22,319 - £24,210 actual per annum
• 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only)
• Fixed term contract until 31 August 2027
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Caldmore Primary Academy are looking for a Fixed Term Level 3 Teaching Assistant within Early Years to work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils. This role will involve promoting pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion and give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so that they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement. We are looking for an individual who strives to share their passion for education with our students and join our dedicated team to uphold the Academy’s vision and values.

The successful candidate will hold GCSE level (to include English and Maths grade C/4 +), and an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. First aid training or willingness to undertake is essential. The ideal candidate will join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.
