Alderman Bolton Primary Academy is recruiting a Level 2 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a caring, enthusiastic team. The role is 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm, on a permanent contract, term time only plus inset days.

You will support learning through play-based activities, assist with observations, and help create a safe, nurturing environment. Safeguarding and inclusive practice are central to the role.

Formación

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above.
• Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare or Early Years (CACHE/NVQ Level 2).
• Experience of working with young children in an Early Years or primary school setting.
• Desirable Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare/Supporting Teaching and Learning.

Responsabilidades

• Support individual children and small groups with learning and development.
• Support learning across both indoor and outdoor provision.
• Contribute to observations and assessments of children’s learning and development.
• Support positive behaviour and inclusion, safeguarding and personal care routines.
• Assist with preparation and organisation of learning environments.
• Possibly undertake lunchtime duties and some after‑school club duties.
