Tonge Moor Academy in Bolton is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support learning and classroom routines. The role works closely with teachers to ensure pupils access learning in a safe, inclusive environment.

The post holder will support pupils' educational, emotional and social development, upholding the academy's core values and safeguarding requirements within a trust framework.

Aufgaben

• Support individual pupils and small groups during learning activities.
• Lead small group learning activities, including interventions and SEND programmes.
• Help pupils understand instructions and stay engaged in lessons.
• Promote inclusion and positive interactions among pupils.
• Support pupils with SEND and EAL and adjust approaches as needed.
• Assist with pupil welfare, personal care where required, and independence.
• Support teachers with preparation, displays, and marking feedback.
• Record pupil achievement and maintain relevant records.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection.
• Supervise breaktimes and contribute to a positive, safe environment.
• Attend staff meetings and training; engage in professional development.
