Job summary

Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue is seeking a committed Play Worker to support pupils at lunchtimes, providing access to play equipment in line with Opal Play.

You will work with fellow lunchtime staff to ensure safe, imaginative play and help develop pupils' social and creative skills through structured play activities and equipment monitoring. GCSEs are required; safeguarding awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above.
• Experience of supporting pupils with lunch time play.
• Awareness of Child Safeguarding.
• Ability to effectively communicate with pupils and staff to provide access to play equipment and develop imaginative play.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across lunchtime and ensure access to play equipment in line with Opal Play.
• Work closely with support and lunchtime staff to supervise and assist during play.
