Job summary

Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue is seeking a committed Play Worker to support pupils at lunchtimes, ensuring access to play equipment and implementing Opal Play principles. You will help create a safe, engaging play environment across the dinner period.

Working closely with support and lunchtime staff, you will encourage imaginative play, monitor pupil wellbeing, and contribute to training and development opportunities within a welcoming school community.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at C grade or above.
• Experience of supporting pupils with lunch time play.
• Awareness of Child Safeguarding.
• Ability to effectively communicate with pupils and staff and ensure pupils have access to a variety of play equipment to develop imaginative play.
