Grass Hoppers in the United Kingdom is seeking a confident Play Supervisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. You will lead a team across play areas, catering, parties, and reception, ensuring every family has a brilliant visit and stays safe.

You’ll be hands-on, manage daily operations, supervise shifts, and maintain high H&S standards. If you’re personable, organised, and ready to step up when the Play Manager is away, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or managerial experience required.
• Strong focus on Health & Safety and safe operations.
• Excellent customer service and ability to create great experiences.
• Calm under pressure with good decision-making in busy times.

Responsabilités

• Lead, motivate and develop Grass Hoppers Assistants across play, catering, parties and reception.
• Hold regular check-ins and probation reviews to support new starters.
• Schedule and allocate tasks and breaks to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Oversee safety checks, equipment and capacity management throughout the day.
• Step in at busy times and lead from the front with hands-on involvement.
• Ensure parties and events run smoothly with attentive customer service.
