Job summary

Hutchesons’ After School Care in Glasgow is inviting applications for a part-time, permanent After School Care Practitioner. You will provide quality play and care for children aged 4 to 16 under ASC policies, with a focus on a safe, nurturing environment.

Candidates must hold current SSSC registration; SVQ 3 in Playwork (SCQF Level 7) would be advantageous. You will plan activities, promote child development, and work as part of a friendly, experienced team.

Qualifications

• Must hold current SSSC registration.
• SVQ 3 in Playwork (SCQF Level 7) would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organise and evaluate daily/weekly activity play schedules following ASC procedures and risk assessments.
• Provide play-based learning scaffolding to support children's development.
• Consult with children and involve them in activity planning and decision making.
