Job Details

• Title: Platform Service Engineer
• Rate: £450-£550 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Duration: 6 months (Initially)
• Location: Luton (Hybrid)

iO Associates is partnered with a leading organisation investing heavily in its internal capabilities to support and evolve their outlet infrastructure. They are looking for a Platform Services Engineer to join their high-performing team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong EPOS, SCCM/InTune, and EUC experience to contribute to both BAU and strategic programmes, supporting device management, infrastructure migrations, and end-to-end service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert on outlet infrastructure
• Lead engineering efforts on major infrastructure migration projects
• Manage the full lifecycle of outlet devices and applications, including build, patching, deployment, and packaging
• Own the configuration of systems and compliance against internal security standards
• Provide 3rd-line support and manage incident queues in line with SLA
• Drive improvements to platform performance, availability, and resilience

Qualifications

• Strong SCCM/InTune experience (builds, packaging, patching)
• Proven background with EPOS platforms & bespoke app support
• Deep understanding of Windows 10, Linux, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Confident scripting in PowerShell
• Excellent stakeholder/vendor management and incident response capabilities
• 5+ years in EUC/EPOS engineering roles
