Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role with backend focus.
• Genuine fullstack capability in React/TypeScript, backend work.
• Experience with functional programming concepts or languages.
• Strong understanding of Clean Code and Clean Architecture.
• Product thinking: translate business problems into precise requirements and code.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: align daily work with team and company goals.
• Ownership: take responsibility for the platform and team.

Responsibilities

• Build shared backend services and APIs with clear contracts and abstractions.
• Work with product teams to identify platform improvements for user impact.
• Build and operate robust, correct systems and continuously improve them.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Shape architecture and platform boundaries for scalability and performance.
• Lead initiatives like migrations and platform capabilities, mentoring others.
• Promote collaboration and continuous improvement of processes and tools.
