Job summary

Schroders is seeking a pragmatic Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Client Engagement and Digital Content Platforms Team in London. You’ll work across frontend and backend technologies, delivering scalable digital platforms and client experiences in a fast-moving Agile environment.

You will apply AI-assisted development techniques, collaborate with Product Managers and Marketing, and contribute to CI/CD and IaC while maintaining high-quality standards and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and supporting modern full stack applications.
• Strong experience building web applications using React.js.
• Experience with Next.js or equivalent modern web frameworks.
• Experience developing backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and maintainable architecture.
• Experience with cloud technologies, with Azure desirable.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools and understanding of the AI lifecycle.
• Understanding of automated testing and quality engineering practices.
• Experience integrating with Headless CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability and production support practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support modern full stack applications across platforms.

• Collaborate with product owners and QA to ensure quality and timely delivery.
