Qualifications

• Solid understanding of system architecture, software engineering principles, and system design.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of APIs and backend integrations.
• Experience with observability, including metrics, logs, traces, latency, and monitoring.
• Good understanding of distributed systems vs. microservices.
• Experience explaining technical decisions, trade-offs, deployments, and system improvements.
• Practical experience working with LLMs, including prompting, querying, and understanding their limitations.
• Comfortable using AI as a development aid, while maintaining strong coding ability and engineering judgement-this role requires hands-on software engineering, not reliance on AI-generated code.
