Job summary
Bank of England is seeking a Technical Product Manager for RTGS Technology based in Leeds or London. You will own the roadmap, epics and backlog for our engineering platform services, working with engineers and stakeholders to shape priorities and improve delivery outcomes.
In this role you will balance platform evolution with lifecycle management, automation and operational resilience, ensuring safe, scalable software delivery across RTGS Technology.
Qualifications
- Experience managing roadmaps, backlogs, epics or prioritisation processes within a technology organisation.
- Experience coordinating with engineering, technology or platform teams.
- Experience facilitating workshops or stakeholder sessions.
- Experience improving operational processes, engineering effectiveness or service outcomes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of Agile delivery and product management practices.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap, epics and backlog for Runtime Platform & Developer Experience services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and platform consumers to understand needs and shape priorities.
- Ensure capacity is allocated across platform evolution, lifecycle management and automation.
- Use insights to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain a balanced roadmap for reliability, lifecycle management and automation.
- Drive lifecycle management, including patching and obsolescence remediation.
