Job summary

British Heart Foundation is seeking a Technical Product Owner to own the platform roadmap, drive performance, security and continuous improvement across Platform Engineering & Production Operations. You will shape the backlog for engineering teams, translating stakeholder needs into clear priorities and leading end-to-end technical delivery in a hybrid London-based role.

This role requires strong Scrum experience, governance with suppliers, and a track record of delivering reliable, scalable

Qualifications

• Technical product ownership in an enterprise setting with platform focus.
• Strong understanding of architectures and integrated systems.
• Experience delivering end-to-end technical work through Scrum.
• Ability to write robust user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Excellent stakeholder management and vendor governance.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise work across platform and infrastructure streams.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into backlog items for build, deployment and improvements.
• Prioritise security and compliance work across platforms.
• Provide product leadership for platform systems and tech stack.
• Improve developer experience and platform reliability for safe rapid release.
• Act as advisor for strategic technology partnerships and supplier delivery.
• Align stakeholders and document capabilities, champion Agile product management.
