Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing a substantial multidisciplinary engineering function.
• Experience taking complex automation and robotics systems through concept to deployment and support.
• Credibility across software, embedded systems, electronics, hardware, controls, robotics and integration.
• Experience balancing architecture, reuse and lifecycle with product demands.
• Practical command of quality, safety, design assurance, verification and change control.
• Ability to balance scope, cost and risk while representing engineering with customers and partners.
• Strong communication to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated or high-reliability environments is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Set platform strategy, translate product goals into a clear platform roadmap and resource plan.
• Lead and develop leaders across software, hardware, electronics, firmware, robotics and systems integration.
• Drive delivery with realistic plans, measurable progress and early risk surfacing.
• Establish and improve engineering standards for architecture, integration, verification and lifecycle support.
• Protect platform coherence while meeting customer needs and enabling reuse and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, customer delivery and operations to align priorities and plans.
• Represent platform engineering in external technical conversations with customers and partners.
• Develop future capability through talent planning and skills development.
