Job summary

Cellular Origins is seeking an exceptional engineering leader to take departmental leadership of our core technology platform. Reporting to the COO, you will oversee Software, Hardware, Robotics and Integration, shaping the engineering organisation for growth and scale.

You will align specialists around priorities, drive decisions, remove barriers and deliver reliable, scalable platform capabilities for cell therapy manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a multidisciplinary engineering department
• Experience with complex automation, robotics or integrated systems
• Strong systems thinking and architecture mindset
• Ability to balance long-term platform strategy with near-term delivery
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Set direction and priorities for platform engineering aligned with company strategy
• Lead and develop leaders for software, hardware, robotics, and integration
• Drive delivery with realistic plans and risk management
• Establish and improve engineering standards for complex systems
• Ensure coherence and scalability of the core technology platform
• Collaborate with product, customer delivery and operations leadership
• Represent engineering in high-stakes discussions with customers and partners
• Build future capability and talent plans for growth
