Job summary

Dex partners with a high-growth financial-services client to hire a first platform leader who will own cloud strategy, Azure/AKS, and security controls (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) enabling a product handling sensitive financial data.

You will architect and scale the Azure/AKS environment, build the platform engineering team from scratch, own CI/CD across services, and drive observability, on-call practices, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Experience architecting and operating production Kubernetes and Terraform at scale.
• Led platform teams in fast-growth startups.
• Hands-on with Azure cloud networking and security/compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end cloud strategy and scale Azure/AKS for financial-services deployments.
• Build and lead the platform engineering team from the ground up.
• Own CI/CD across backend, frontend, and data services; establish observability & on-call rotations.
• Lead audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and implement robust security, secrets management, and compliance measures (GDPR).
