Job summary

Dex is partnering with a leading AI platform that serves regulated financial institutions. You will architect and operate the Azure footprint across AKS, Terraform, and Dockerised services, defining the technical direction and guardrails for a 150+ person company.

You will own CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end observability, enabling product engineers to ship rapidly while maintaining enterprise-grade controls and preparing for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 audits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps with leadership experience.
• Experience designing Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines used by other engineers.
• End-to-end ownership of observability (logs, metrics, tracing, alerts).
• Comfort with cloud networking (VPCs, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, firewalls) and production databases.
• Strong scripting with Python or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate a complex Azure footprint (AKS, Terraform, Dockerised services).
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines shipping backend, frontend, and data with developer experience focus.
• Set technical direction and guardrails for infrastructure and observability practices.
• Own end-to-end observability and drive incident response.
• Prepare cloud estate for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits and manage cloud cost at scale.
