Innova Recruitment Limited is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Manchester with a hybrid working model. The role focuses on owning platform engineering, reliability, and quality across engineering teams, advancing observability and automation, and maturing CI/CD practices.

You’ll collaborate with the CTO and Tech Leads to set standards, select tooling, and coach teams, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery with AI-assisted capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform engineering, reliability, and quality across multiple teams.

Responsabilités

• Own the platform engineering practice across the business.
• Define engineering standards, tooling and best practice for platform engineering, DevOps and quality engineering.
• Lead the implementation of an observability strategy with telemetry, monitoring, dashboards and alerts.
• Improve Azure platform capabilities and increase in-house IaC ownership.
• Review and evolve the Playwright automation estate for modern testing practices.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to boost build performance and release confidence.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads to improve reliability, scalability and operational excellence across web and mobile platforms.
• Shape capabilities to support AI-assisted, spec-driven software delivery.
