Job summary

Referment, a financial-markets technology business, is seeking a Software Engineer to join the team behind its structured-data platform. You will work across a sophisticated stack, building services for data processing and analytics while improving reliability, scalability and delivery practices.

The role blends hands-on engineering with technical ownership, collaborating with quantitative teams to understand demanding data requirements and supporting critical platform components in production.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering across C#, Python or Java.
• Experience with financial-markets data or systems is preferred.
• Solid SQL skills and data technologies.
• Experience with cloud-native environments (AWS or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and support critical components of a large-scale data platform.
• Collaborate with quantitative teams to translate complex data requirements into platform capabilities.
• Design, build and maintain services for data processing and analytics workloads.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and efficient delivery.
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture and platform reliability.
• Investigate performance, stability and scalability of the platform.
