Job summary

Lightning AI is seeking experienced Platform Engineers to partner with customers and architect end‑to‑end AI integrations on our platform. You’ll work across AI workflow implementation, full‑stack development, security, and billing integration to ensure customer success.

This hands‑on role blends software engineering, AI infrastructure, and customer engagement. You’ll collaborate with internal teams to deliver production‑ready AI systems at scale, while thriving in fast‑moving environments.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering building production full‑stack apps with React/TypeScript and Python/Go.
• Experience working with customers in technical environments and cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycles, deployment, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to design, implement, and deploy end‑to‑end AI systems on Lightning’s platform.
• Translate objectives into technical specs, proofs‑of‑concepts, and scalable production implementations.
• Own engagements from discovery through deployment, monitoring, and expansion.
• Develop production grade software with emphasis on Python, latency, and cost efficiency.
• Build observable, reliable systems across AI inference infrastructure and APIs.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams through full deployment lifecycle.
• Work with Lightning product/engineering to improve platform capabilities and roadmap.
• Navigate ambiguity with sound technical judgment and effective tradeoffs.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
