Job summary

Relation Therapeutics in London is seeking a Software Engineer in our Platform Team to scale our Kubernetes-based hybrid compute cluster and build core platform services for ambitious machine-learning powered drug discovery.

You'll work with the ML and Data Science groups to ensure performance, reliability and security across private and public clouds, owning CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) and IaC (Terraform), with Python as a primary language; Go is a bonus.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years in software engineering.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions; Terraform for IaC is a plus.
• Solid Python coding skills; Go is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve architectural strategy for Kubernetes clusters across private and public clouds.
• Engineer and manage full lifecycle of internal and external apps, APIs, and services.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and incident response strategies.
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and failover capabilities.
• Protect data and enforce security best practices; collaborate with ML/DS teams.
