Avanti Recruitment is recruiting for a Platform Engineer to join a remote-first, UK-based team supporting a SaaS platform used by customers worldwide. The role focuses on AWS and Kubernetes, with emphasis on reliability and security while modernising existing infrastructure.

You will work with a small, collaborative team, lead infrastructure projects from planning through delivery, and influence technical decisions to improve the platform for growth and resilience.

Qualifications

• Experience with production cloud platforms (AWS) and Kubernetes in live environments.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform or equivalent).
• Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC and manage production Kubernetes clusters.
• Support reliability, performance, and security for the platform.
• Lead infrastructure projects from design through delivery and collaborate with software engineers.
