Job summary

Loop Recruitment is assisting a high-growth technology client to fill a Platform Engineer position focused on AWS, Kubernetes and modern platform engineering practices.

The role involves building, deploying and running scale-ready software, with exposure to autonomous developer platforms, automation and production-grade CI/CD pipelines. It offers opportunities to influence architecture and improve developer experience in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in AWS, infrastructure as code and containers.
• Experience building developer platforms and tooling is a plus.
• Experience with streaming/data infrastructure desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to internal developer platforms, tooling and automation.
• Manage AWS infrastructure across EKS, ECS and Lambda.
• Work with Kubernetes and migrate workloads to EKS.
• Develop and maintain IaC using CDK/ Terraform / CloudFormation.
• Own CI/CD workflows, migrating from CircleCI to GitHub Actions.
• Improve observability using Datadog.
• Support data and streaming infrastructure including Kafka, Flink, Redis, RDS, Redshift.
