Job summary

LSL Estate Agency Franchising in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and operate the enterprise data platforms spanning on‑prem RedHat and Microsoft Azure. You’ll design, develop and support critical systems, delivering secure, automated services with GitHub‑based CI/CD pipelines.

This hybrid role requires hands‑on experience with GitHub Actions, Azure services, and IaC. You’ll collaborate with IT teams to ensure security, resilience, and cost efficiency while driving

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Redhat management.
• Hands-on with GitHub including Actions, PR workflows and branching strategies.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services including Entra ID, Key Vault and Azure Monitor.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of CI/CD, automation and DevOps principles.
• Experience managing data pipelines and platform operations.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Design, support and maintain systems based on RedHat/.NET Core/MySQL platform & Microsoft Fabric data platform across environments.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle of platform services: design, build, release and live operations.
• Provide proactive monitoring and operational management including Azure dependencies and capacity.
• Drive continuous service improvement using metrics and operational insight.
• Embed ownership culture and high operational standards.
